Welcome to the website for #AllTrades_Inn on the DarkMyst IRC network. We are the world's first online roleplaying channel based entirely on the world of the Kingkiller Chronicle trilogy, by Patrick Rothfuss.

This site offers some information regarding the nuances of our particular setting, as well as a few details pertaining to the world, as a whole. It is by no means a comprehensive guide to all things Kingkiller and we encourage you to visit the author's website and/or purchase the books from a retailer to gain more knowledge.

If you are unfamiliar with our venue, the mIRC client site can be found here. It is user friendly and quick to install and setup. Best of all, we welcome new players! So, if you're interested in participating, or just coming over to check it out, please read the rules below and feel free to browse the rest of the site.

This channel is free form, in the sense that no character sheets, character approval or dice-rolling is required to play. The setting is likened to "medieval fantasy," with the exception of some technologies manifested through different forms of magic.

Our rules are simple:

1. Familiarize yourself with the setting (preferably by buying the books).

2. All characters should be based on species or races found in the books (no vampires, werewolves, furries, etc.)

3. Be courteous to your fellow players.

4. Ask questions if you need help.

5. Please do not copy characters from the story.

6. Have fun!
